I am incredibly proud to share this collaboration with you. A collaboration that is close to my heart and rooted in Norwegian cultural heritage. For the first time, I had the opportunity to design a real character, not just any character, but a crocheted version inspired by one of Norway's most iconic adventurers: Thor Heyerdahl.

Heyerdahl's legendary journey across the Pacific on the handmade raft Kon-Tiki is a tale of courage, curiosity, and the belief in the impossible. During this voyage, he had several close encounters with sharks, which inspired us to include some friendly sea creatures: a happy crab and a stubborn whale shark, each crafted with care and attention to detail.

I designed the characters, and our team at Patti Oslo brought every detail to life with exquisite craftsmanship. A new adventure for all of us, and one that felt deeply meaningful.

You can now find our little explorer and his ocean friends in the shop at the Kon-Tiki Museum, surrounded by the same stories that inspired their creation. Seeing them there, in the heart of a place that celebrates one of Norway's most extraordinary adventures, fills me with pride. It feels very special to contribute something soft and playful to such a brave and historical legacy. This collaboration is a tribute to curiosity, courage, and craftsmanship, and being a part of it has been both an honor and a joy.

Kitz Heimat x Patti Oslo

I am happy to share the story behind my collaboration with Kitz Heimat, where I had the opportunity to design and crochet a special fawn-shaped toy. The design process began with inspiration from Kitz Heimat's own logo, which features a charming fawn. I wanted to stay true to their brand identity while adding a soft and playful expression. After studying the logo, I created several sketches imagining the fawn as a toy with its characteristic spots. Once the sketches were ready, I started experimenting with patterns and carefully adjusted them until the toy captured the spirit of the original design.

Bringing this design to life through crochet demanded patience and precision. I worked by hand, using the same organic materials to create a soft, safe, and environmentally friendly toy. The fawn's spotted pattern and elegant collar were designed to be imaginative and pleasant to hold. Translating the logo into a tangible toy that unites Kitz Heimat's visual identity with my interpretation of a real fawn was a rewarding challenge that resulted in something both timeless and meaningful. I created Ruby the Fawn with all my heart, keeping in mind the beauty and vulnerability of fawns in nature.

What makes this collaboration even more meaningful is Kitz Heimat's commitment to giving back. For every sale of Ruby Rehkitz, they donate €2 to Rehkitz-Rettung Hannover e.V., an organization working to protect roe deer fawns in the region. Knowing that my design contributes to this cause fills me with pride. It connects the craftsmanship behind the toy to a purpose that directly supports wildlife conservation.

Soon, Ruby Rehkitz will also be available in our webshop, and for every product sold, we will donate €2 to Rehkitz-Rettung Hannover e.V.

We are delighted to announce our collaboration with the family concept store Smallable Paris in support of the French NGO Un Enfant Par la Main.

Since 2019, 3,150 charity products have been sold in Smallable stores, with 10% of the profits going to Un Enfant par la Main, an organization dedicated to protecting children and safeguarding their rights, enabling them to grow into independent and responsible adults.

In this collaboration, we present our exclusive Bowie Plush Toy, handcrafted from organic cotton with a charming bow tie. Bowie is designed with the same care and precision as all our products, and is a soft and safe choice from the first touch. This special edition is not only a cuddly friend for life, but also a contribution to a cause that means something to us.

Since 2019, Smallable has partnered with selected brands each year on the occasion of International Children's Day, to raise funds for Un Enfant Par La Main. An organization that works to protect children and safeguard their rights, so they can grow up to be independent and responsible adults.

10% of the proceeds from the sale of Bowie go to Un Enfant Par La Main.
